Nortávia´s Research & Development division was created in 2007 as an answer to the company's growth needs and to the strategic goal of diversifying the range of actions of its activities.

The division consists of a Project Office with a team of 3 aeronautical engineers and 1 mechanical engineer, assisted by technical personnel.

This structure has an advanced cluster of aerodynamic simulation (with a Fluent license from Ansys) and a structure workshop.

The division is targeted to the development of concepts and products exclusively aeronautical, supported by state financing and a wide range of partnerships in multiple areas.
