The Flight Instructor Course provides the applicant with the necessary competencies to be able to provide flight instruction.

Admission Requirements

The following admission requirements refer to candidates applying for Nortávia’s Flight Instructor course.

18 years of age;
Hold a valid EASA CPL or ATPL License;
Have logged at least:
– 20 hours VFR X-Country;
– 10 hours IFR DC (of which max. 5 in FSTD);
– 30 hours SEP (of which at least 5hrs. on previous 6 months);

OR

Hold a valid EASA PPL License;
CPL(A) or higher theoretical knowledge;
Have logged at least:
– 200 hours of flight-time (of which 150 hrs as PIC)
– 20 hours VFR X-Country;
– 10 hours IFR DC (of which max. 5 in FSTD);
– 30 hours SEP (of which at least 5hrs. on previous 6 months);
– completes a VFR x-country of at least 300Nm with full stop landing at 2 different ADs

Hold a Class 1 Medical Certificate.

The candidate will have to pass a specific skill test where it must demonstrate adequate capabilities both in terms of flying technique and theoretical knowledge.

National ID card or passport;
Class 1 Medical Certificate;
EASA Flight License with valid SEP (land).
